10 Cents a Meal is now available to sponsors of early childhood centers that are successfully participating in the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). This brand new Early Care and Education (ECE) page includes an informative one-pager on ECE. You can also find the 13 Moons Curriculum featured, which represents the 13 Moons of Anishinaabe Nutrition. These engaging video lessons were developed by the Inter-Tribal Council of Michigan, Inc.
Build Your Farm to School Program
Michigan Department of Education, Groundwork Center For Resilient Communities, MSU Center for Regional Food Systems, and Michigan Department of Agriculture & Rural Development compiled a list of resources to build a thriving fresh foods program, from the cafeteria to the classroom. These resources were compiled to empower the schools awarded with grant funding to be successful in the four objective areas.
